It would be amazing to show what all the cast and crews hard work has gone to. They perform not because they want to but because they know that they are capable of putting on a show stopping performance and that is what this is going to be! How to clean out the store room with - Dylan, Sam and April

So today was eventful. Whilst people were hard at work painting costumes for CATS others were 'hard at work' cleaning out the dressing/ prop room down at the easy street headquarters. First of all Sallianne (the director) set the guys a task of cleaning out the the dressing room. To others that would be a boring job that they would moan about, but not to us! In the end sal had to come in and take over as we where having too much fun. Well at least we got some of it done and its looking pretty good now i must say :) 

Interview with - Macavity (Harriet Wade)

Macavity!

1. what has been you favorite part of rehearsing for Cats?

God everything, i cant decide! Just everything. 

2. What is your favorite song in cats and why?

Macavity, and not because its about me either haha! Beth (Bombalarina) and Megan (Demeter) sing it so well it looks and sounds amazing and also Jellical songs because its so all over the place and the different styles of music within it are so much fun to sing!

3. Why did you audition for the part you got? If you didn't get the part you wanted why did you want that part?

I originally auditioned for Grizabella. Just because i knew that i could do a good job on it if i got it. Grizabella is an awesome character, she is so different and i felt i could portray her well. But i got Macavity and i love it! I love being in character, he's so much fun because you can be OTT and crazy and as you know i play crazy pretty well.

4. Macavity is the villain in Cats. Do you like playing the villain?

I love it ahaa just because hes the only real villan in the whole thing and it just makes him so different i just love it.

5. We do wooden spoon awards every year. Who do you think would get the award of best cat and why?

EVERYONE oh god i dont know! thats a mean question to ask!!

Well that was Macavity :) Maybe we will be seeing more interviews with the cats in the future :)
